Ice Age Naturals is a union of small farms working together to produce pastured meats and poultry. Our core focus is to provide locally grown pastured meats produced in a sustainable and healing way. The farming methods we practice are intended to recover the quality of the land we work. We are committed to producing quality wholesome food for our local community.
Our philosophy is pretty simple, chickens are chickens, cows are cows and pigs are pigs. We let them do what chickens, pigs, and cows do in the ways they choose to do it. Our job is to integrate the farms processes and paddocks in a productive and healthful way, providing a natural, sustainable environment that restores the land we work into the most naturally productive environment it can be. This environment naturally produces some of the best foods we can deliver to market. Our laying hens roam the farm to get what they need producing eggs that have beautiful orange yolks, our beef is raised on grass and naturally lean, and our pigs root in pastures to forage for some of their natural foods.
The impact of this philosophy enables the elimination of hormone and other chemical uses. Promotes soil and tilth building, healing of the land, supports the local economy, creates community and reduces the travel time of your food. There is a certain comfort in knowing where your food comes from and having a deep connection to it.
